Project Overview
Connecting with alumni
I was tasked with designing materials for the annual Alumni Awards Gala, with a specific request to draw inspiration from the venue’s architecture. Using reference photos, I explored and iterated on visual concepts to reflect the space’s unique character.
Design Process
Some of my design explorations drew inspiration from the ornate coffered ceiling and architectural details of the Wilshire Ebell’s entrance gate.
Final Designs
Stakeholders responded positively and ultimately chose to move forward with the gate-inspired design elements. After addressing a few final notes, I finalized the design and oversaw the print production and mailing process.
