Project Overview
Strengthening community
To foster stronger connections with alumni and create meaningful engagement for both the institution and current students, Southwestern Law School began hosting an annual on-campus Homecoming Festival. Designed to be family-friendly, the event aims to welcome alumni back “home” and deepen their ties to the school. In 2023, the festival’s theme was inspired by the Harry Potter Marauder’s Map.

Design Process
I started by exploring how to translate the aesthetic of the Marauder’s Map to fit our campus. While Hogwarts is known for its iconic castle and many towers, Southwestern has just one, but that’s still more than most places!

Metrics
While exact metrics can’t be shared, the Homecoming Festival has been met with overwhelmingly positive feedback and strong participation, securing its place as a beloved annual tradition at Southwestern Law School.
